The TESL certificate program is composed of eight modules that are to be completed in sequence. Upon completion of the first two modules, our trainees receive a TEFL certificate and can began their experience teaching English abroad. Trainees completing all eight modules will meet the national and international TESL standard and receive a TESL certificate.

English teachers in Canada or in a more academic environment overseas, are expected to hold a B.A. with a minimum of 100 hours of ESL teacher training study, which our TESL certificate program provides. In our teacher training centre, you will be part of a team to test and apply newly acquired concepts and thereby accelerate your learning curve through shared ideals and first hand applications. The International college of Applied Linguistics offers a practicum within the ESL teacher training program where students have their first experience teaching ESL with the support of our instructors.
