ESL Teaching Certificate

The ESL teaching certificate is often confused with the TEFL certificate. The ESL teaching certificate allows you to Teach English as a Second Language (TESL) while the TEFL certificate allows you to Teach English as a Foreign Language. Although the ESL teaching certificate is mostly offered in bilingual countries where English is an official language, most of our graduates plan on teaching overseas and the TEFL certificate is more suited to their needs. Course on offer for ESL teaching certificate

The ESL teaching certificate program prepares you to meet the needs of ESL learners aiming to achieve the fluency of a second language. Our ESL teaching certificate program is an extension of our EFL teaching certificate program. The ESL certificate program comprises eight modules that are to be completed in sequence. Trainees completing all eight modules will meet the national TESL standard and receive a TESL certificate.

Checklist for ESL teaching certificate

(1) An ESL teaching certificate will train you to Teach English as a Second Language.

(2) You must already have a good command of the English language to enroll in an ESL teaching certificate program.

(3) The ESL teaching certificate will specially train you to work in bilingual countries where English is the official language.

(4) The ESL teaching certificate is not a proficiency certificate.
